Accountant @ Marketing Advertising Sports Firm
Our client is a Global Multi-Media Marketing and Entertainment Firm. This is a fast-paced environment that has strong camaraderie and firm growth. They have great professional growth and a lot of tenured professionals that have moved up quickly!
They are seeking an accounting professional to join their Digital Talent team as a newly created role due to growth. This role will be reporting to the head of the team working with Sales, Operations, Legal, and HR.
Duties:
- Analyze and Review Revenue Recognition for live events
- Prepare invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Post and code all invoices into the accounting software system ensuring careful accuracy and precision
- Update weekly check register in a timely and efficient manner
- Research all vendor discrepancies and follow up on all adjustments
- Analyze accounts payable inquiries from internal customers and external vendors
- File and maintain all paid and unpaid invoices and statements
- Provide analytical, administrative, clerical, and project support to accounting department and management
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferable
- Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
- Understanding in Balance Sheet, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger
