Designer // Swimwear // Add Black // March 2025 Position Reports to: Design Director We’re looking for talented and passionate Designers to join our team! Job Responsibilities: All Design team members are responsible for current market and trend research. Designer is expected to be able to identify incoming and outgoing trends and validate with market research. Trends include color, silhouette, fabrication, details, etc. Designer is expected to contribute design ideas/concepts for swimwear that are appropriate for the specific guest segment, cost viable, and on trend. Designer is responsible for understanding and meeting all calendar deadlines. Designer must have the ability to illustrate design intent in CAD format (i.e. silhouettes, trim and embellishment, textures, crochet patterns, etc.). Designer is responsible for the creation of detailed and organized tech packs for each design. Designer must attend fittings and collaboratively work alongside the technical designer to achieve the desired expression of fit and design intent while also understanding costing parameters. Designer is responsible for ensuring all design hand-offs and deliverables are met in a timely manner. Designers must communicate effectively and productively with cross-functional team members. Clear and concise verbal and written communication is critical. Designer will work closely with Textile Artists on all print needs (color ways, scale, repeat, etc.). Designer will work together with the product development team to source new and innovative, swim-appropriate fabrications and trims. Designer works closely with the entire team to effectively assort collections, ensuring they align with line architecture, are beautifully merchandised, and aesthetically beautiful. Designer is expected to collaborate with the design team on big ideas, floor pad opportunities, color direction, storytelling, etc. Designer works alongside the team to build all trend and CAD presentations, including image searching, mood board creating, etc. Designer is responsible for working directly with the 3D artist to ensure each design is brought to life through visual technology and meets the desired expression of fit and creative design intent. Requirements to be considered: Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and all other Adobe products. 5+ Years of Swimwear design experience a must. Experience in bra cup sized lingerie or swim a plus. Technical background in fit or construction, 3D Design, Product Development, or Pattern Making skills a plus. BA degree and/or Fashion Design Certificate. Position is in-house M-TH with a remote option on Fridays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
