Position Summary
Advanced Roofing Inc. is currently in search of an enthusiastic entry-level Marketing Assistant poised to enhance their skills while contributing to the department's expansion. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager, actively participating in the coordination and execution of diverse marketing initiatives, such as campaigns, media communications, and event management. This role offers a valuable opportunity for someone starting their career in marketing to gain hands-on experience and make a meaningful impact within our growing company.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to support the marketing department and deliver assigned projects on time. It will be critical to have a strong acumen to digital marketing tools and orientation to work in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Assistant must be an organized multitasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who is able to manage multiple projects at once and consistently meet deadlines.

Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of thedepartment’s activities.Responsibility to keep track, organize and reorder Marketing inventory.Support the Sales and Human Resources teams in collecting materials for trade shows and events.Develop SOPs for marketing and sales efforts.Scan search directories like Google and Bing for reviews and legal copywriting issuesSupport marketing executives in organizing and coordinating various projectsEmploy marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)Update CRM,spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial informationAssist in the organizing of promotional events, webinars, and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.Update and prepare PowerPoint PresentationsCompose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.Proof for spelling and grammar marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market.Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships.Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Graphic Design, and/ or Website Development is a strong advantageExperience
1-2 years of experience working in a high-volume and fast-paced marketing and communication department for multiple divisions and branch offices.Proven experience working on a marketing team.Good understanding of office management and marketing principlesDemonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlinesWell-organized with a customer-oriented approachGood knowledge of market research techniques and databasesExcellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics,etc.)Exquisite communication and people skillsSkills & Requirements
