Job Description

Tasks and Duties

1. Receive and review export documents from USPPI.
2. Receive and review export routing information and details from nominated freight forwarder.
3. Prepare export customs entries in our proprietary system or other customs software.
4. Understand the elements of the Export customs SOPs.
5. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operating systems.
6. Ensure timely export customs clearance of shipments.
7. Monitor export customs clearances and communicate with Customers.
8. Extract required data and information from customer supplied reports.

Physical Demands

1. Use of standard office equipment - computer with keyboard and mouse, phone, fax/copy/scan machine, etc.
2. Write with pencil/pen/marker.

Functions performed primarily while seated at desk.

Qualifications

1. Global logistics industry knowledge.

Other preferred (not required) qualifications:

1. Experience in filing/preparing Export Compliance information for U.S. Customs.
2. U.S. Export compliance knowledge/familiarity.
