Job Description: Part-Time Music Director at Trinity Lutheran Church
Are you passionate about music and ministry? Trinity Lutheran Church is seeking a Part-Time Music Director to lead and enrich our worship through music.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct music for Sunday services and special events
- Lead and rehearse the Adult, Children, and Handbell Choirs
- Collaborate with the pastor to enhance the worship experience
- Select appropriate hymns and musical pieces in alignment with Lutheran traditions
- Play piano/organ or coordinate with instrumentalists (preferred but not required)
Qualifications:
- Strong musical background and ability to lead vocal ensembles
- Experience in church music ministry preferred
- Familiarity with Lutheran liturgy and sacred music (traditional and contemporary)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Part-time availability (estimated 8-10 hours per week)
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
