Role Responsibilities
The Associate Field Marketing Manager - PacWest will focus on the following:
National Programming Work closely with commercial sales to ensure national programs are purchased to an appropriate level and executed as designed Support local execution of sampling and event programming Coordinate and manage all POS buys and inventory at the local level to ensure timely execution of materials in-market Regional/Local Programming
Work with the Marketing Manager, Sales Team, and Distributor/Broker partners to identify all divisional local programming needs to support Suntory Global Spirits priorities Work closely with the National Marketing, Industry Affairs, Intellectual Property and Sales to ensure local programming adheres to brand guidelines, state and federal regulations, and properly protects our intellectual property Manage procurement of promotional materials to support regional and local programs, utilizing centralized procurement options Ensure quality, cost efficiencies, program effectiveness, and on-time delivery of local programs Assist Marketing Manager with programming calendar management, program tracking and post-campaign performance reporting Lead management of local sampling agency including weekly check-ins ensuring regional reporting and tracking Support promotion offers and sweepstakes approvals BI Management: Lead management of BI budget for assigned geographies including budget tracking & reconciliation of spends through tracking tools Assist the Marketing Manager with planning, allocation and spend of yearly brand investment (BI) budgets Participate in BI budget review meetings with all stakeholders (weekly review/monthly deep dive) Provide input and recommendations for all incremental program and funding requests to maximize and track return on investment (ROI) Opportunity to be a part of driving the marketing agenda for the World's #1 Bourbon, with high exposure in the Suntory Global Spirits organization. Lead a team through the development of channel-specific commercial marketing plans which are fundamental to driving a positive impact on the US P&L performance. Balance strategic thinking, creativity and commercially-grounded thinking. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; marketing major/minor preferred 3+ years of experience in brand or field/trade marketing Strong financial acumen, knowledge of Salesforce.com and SAP a plus Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel & PPT Strong and effective communication skills Ability to conceptualize and think creatively, as well as work independently Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally Travel - up to 15%
