Leadership and Management:Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of marketing professionals across PR, Brand, Content, Communications, Creative, and Events.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to identify and engage the market perspective through marketing, media, and PR strategies and tactics that drive awareness and brand growth.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging professional growth and development.
Evaluate agency partnerships and ensure these investments yield desired results.
Strategic Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
Identify market trends, insights, and opportunities to enhance brand positioning and market share.
Collaborate with executive leadership and your Marketing peers to ensure Corporate Marketing strategies support company goals.
Public Relations and Communications:Oversee all PR activities, including media relations, crisis communications, and press releases.
Ensure consistent and effective corporate messaging across all communication channels.
Partner with the People team to ensure a strong and cohesive internal and employer brand communication strategy.
Partner with the HackerOne Community team to showcase the power of our security researchers and the value they bring to organizations.
Brand Management:Drive the evolution of the company's brand identity, ensuring alignment with company values and vision.
Oversee brand guidelines and ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
Monitor brand performance and implement strategies to enhance brand equity and awareness.
Content Creation and Creative Direction:Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
Lead the creative team in developing compelling visual and written content for various platforms.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Corporate Events:Oversee our strategy and scaling of large sponsored and HackerOne-owned events.
Evaluate event outcomes and implement improvements for future events.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in corporate marketing, 5+ years in a marketing leadership role.
Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, encompassing the entire lifecycle from strategic planning to performance measurement and analysis.
Experience working within the cybersecurity industry.
"Outside the box" thinker who has experience with creative problem solving and finding new ways to approach communications and brand work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building relationships and influencing executive and board level stakeholders.
Proven experience in managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, early- to mid-stage environment.
Must be based remotely in the United States. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience overseeing and/or executing on content creation, PR, communications, creative direction, and event management.
