Responsibilities
Querying and manipulating data sets using SQL and Excel/Google Sheets and visualization tools like Tableau (or similar tools).Cultivating relationships with CMO’s and administering reporting obligations.Analyzing existing reporting processes and establishing new processes with a focus on enhancements and automation.Proactively partnering with internal stakeholders and delivering on reporting requirements.Evaluating, testing, implementing and supporting technical data solutions.Collaborating in the overall strategic direction of the music data roadmap as part of the larger music strategy.Being a trusted subject matter authority.Requirements
3+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing complex data with SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets; basic programming skills in Python or similar scripting language.Strong data analysis skills and experience working with relational database technologies.Hands-on experience of data management, project management, data processing, working with engineering teams, and managing a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.A proven track record of breaking down complex processes and identifying key pain points.Excellent judgment, curiosity, confidence, and ability to work under minimal supervision.Preferred
Practical knowledge of the music industry (e.g., Music Licensing and CMOs; Music Production).Experience using Google scripts to automate tasks.Intermediate experience in Python or similar script writing language.Experience working in Jupyter Notebook and in AWS or similar cloud platforms.Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $70,000 - $350,000.
