Job Description The Marketing Associate supports the marketing initiatives of UNM Food by assisting in the development and execution of promotional materials, engaging with the Lobo community, and maintaining a consistent brand presence across various platforms. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with the Marketing Management team and stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Content Creation: Assist in producing promotional materials, including digital content, flyers, newsletters, and social media posts, to effectively communicate UNM Food's offerings and events. Social Media Management: Maintain and update UNM Food's social media channels by creating engaging content, monitoring interactions, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance online presence. Event Support: Provide logistical and marketing support for UNM Food events, such as "La Po Goes Global," ensuring successful execution and promotion. Market Research: Conduct research on current food service trends and student preferences to inform marketing strategies and improve customer satisfaction. Administrative Tasks: Perform routine administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling, and coordinating meetings, to support the marketing department's operations. Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office. Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva) is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends. Strong photography skills.
