Position Description Artists are a key component of Wendover’s People and a foundation of Wendover’s imagery. The breadth and uniqueness of Wendover’s offering is heavily dependent on the high-quality artwork that we thoughtfully license from our Artists. Each artist that is licensed with Wendover possesses a unique and individual style that allows us to offer one-of-a-kind product in the market. The Artist Resourcing Manager has the knowledge and trained eye needed to be able to recruit top notch artists from around the world.
The role of Artist Resourcing Manager is to be a liaison between Wendover and Artists, committed to building partnership with artists and supporting artists through impeccable service and efficient communication. The Artist Resourcing Manager manages the recruitment and onboarding of new artist images, license agreements, data and file maintenance, execution of artist commission payments, and holds a leading role in daily communication and operations related to artist needs.
The Artist Resourcing Manager is positioned on the front-end of Wendover’s business to procure and maintain unique, artistic content for Wendover’s multi-market platform. Success as an Artist Resourcing Manager is to be an exceptional team member, embody professionalism, communicate effectively, demonstrate a positive spirit, and work strategically in product development. The Artist Resourcing Manager plays an integral role in Wendover achieving our Goal of building the BEST art company in the world by promoting artist relations and licensed art.
Key Responsibilities Possesses Fundamental Art Knowledge and Terminology to effectively communicate externally with artists, and internally within the Wendover Creative Team. Discerning and critical eye for art to ensure a level of quality is maintained amongst Wendover’s licensed art content. Actively sourcing content by referencing lifestyle trend boards to recruit new Artists to fulfill Wendover’s customer and design needs. Drafts and issues License Agreements when new art is licensed by Wendover. Utilizes the software to maintain the licensed artists’ images, update Artist Licensing Terms, and record and execute all Artist Royalties accurately and on time.

What Else Do We Look For? 1-3 years of experience in Interior Design, Fine Art, Studio Arts or other Design focused roles Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Art History, Studio Art, or other related Art or Design fields A personal passion for art and design Ability to develop art trend boards based on aesthetic objectives Ability to provide and interpret art and design direction to achieve a desired aesthetic Entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset with a passion for doing things right all the time Strong time management skills and ability to work under multiple competing deadlines Ability to prioritize and manage a consistently heavy workload with precision Driven and competitive in spirit with a team first mentality Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Basic skills of Photoshop and InDesign is preferred
