Position Description
The Department of Management in the School of Business Administration at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a full-time Instructional Assistant Professor to teach business communication to undergraduate students starting in July 2025.
Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in business communication or other courses as assigned by the Dean of the School of Business Administration and Chair of the Department of Management. Additionally, this position will be responsible for ensuring that the business communication curriculum in the business school adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and relevancy across all offered sections and ensuring that there is adequate staffing for these sections. This teaching load for this position will be 4/3, with the option to teach summer courses for additional pay subject to course demand and funding availability. This position would also help with Freshman orientation during the summer when there would be no required teaching.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications: To be considered, applicants must have earned a masters or doctorate from an accredited college or university. Preference for applicants who have relevant professional experience related to the professional communication, prior teaching experience in communication or presentation, and demonstrated familiarity with technology.
