We are currently recruiting for Associate Director, U.S. Marketing, Field Execution for HIV.Our company has been committed to advancing science for the treatment and prevention of HIV for more than 35 years. HIV is a franchise that consists of 3 inline products plus an active research pipeline. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and customer-focused marketer to join our team in the fight against HIV/AIDS by acting as a strong leader and the conduit for sharing and partnership across the brand team and sales organization for virology.This Associate Director is a headquarters role on the marketing brand team whose strategic and executional priorities are set by the HIV Commercial Leads for inline and pipeline brands. The Associate Director will report to the Marketing Chapter Lead who oversees strategic marketers across product teams. This Field Engagement Strategy and Execution role will focus on driving field sales execution of brand strategy for our HIV products through close collaboration with the Design Team, Customer Agile Team, Sales Leadership, Learning & Development, and Brand Communications. This talented individual will lead ongoing field sales integration and maximization of customer engagement capabilities (Field Suggestions, Field Email, Next Best Engagement, etc.). Additionally, this role will work to understand customer engagement effectiveness through data analytics and enabling the flow of critical customer insights back into the organization to evaluate performance and diagnose areas of opportunity, while building an industry-leading omnichannel customer engagement experience.In addition, our marketing team has adopted an Agile operating model to be more adaptive and responsive to rapidly evolving customer needs and keep pace with the digital evolution in the marketplace. This Agile model enables marketers to enhance their experience, building skills and capabilities that flex across various commercial functions based on business needs and priorities. The successful candidate embraces a growth mindset, a willingness to tackle challenges, and a passion for learning, development, and a greater team achievement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead customer engagement and execution activities aligned to brand strategyPartner with the CAT and Sales / Sales Leadership in all aspects of preparation, planning and ongoing integration related to product promotion, customer engagement and executionCollaborate with Field Sales and Sales Training to identify and prioritize training and developmentLead field-based segmentation and targeting activities, tactical plan development, and KPI implementation / monitoringLeverage customer journey, insights, and engagement data to maximize executionResponsible for the development of execution resourcesEstablish and maintain ongoing bi-directional communication between field sales and brand team to ensure continuous integration, support sharing of relevant insights, and ultimately, maximize customer engagement effortsPlan, coordinate, and lead brand team engagements with field sales (national meetings, strategy reviews and training calls, etc.)This position will build momentum to continued development of outstanding leadership skills critical in many areas of product management including strategy and extended team opportunities, ability to build alignment across diverse teams, and problem-solving skills. Candidates must demonstrate strong collaboration across the brand and extended teams to achieve effective execution of the developed strategy.Education:Required: BA/BSPreferred: MBA or equivalentKnowledge and Skills:A minimum of 5 years Pharma/biotech experience OR a minimum of 4 years combined strategic US Health Care Professional (HCP) marketing or US Field SalesStrong project management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing activities, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time deliveryStrong written/verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and/or sales presentationsDemonstrated knowledge in modeling exemplary behavior and setting high standards as a sales team leader and/or strong indirect manager of colleagues, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve and exceed sales targetsProven ability to drive sales executionStrong background in providing exceptional customer engagementProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional leadership teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and the capacity to align organizational objectives and drive successful outcomesExperience participating and contributing as an extended team member in brand or sales specific projects and initiativesAbility to contribute to a positive team culturePreferred Experience and Skills:Experience in HIVSales manager or learning and development/training experienceAgile experienceNote: While the position is listed as “hybrid,” remote work arrangements will be considered based on a candidate’s experience and individual circumstances.
