The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Reinforcing firm-wide media strategy and policies in all work and among all firm officesOverseeing the Communications Coordinator and their day-to-day responsibilities, including the drafting of promotional opportunities, cataloging media mentions, and building media listsMaintaining the content calendar for all internal and external communicationsServing as a primary point of contact for the Communications Team for lateral onboarding, media placement, thought leadership, promotional opportunities, and social mediaMonitoring media coverage and industry trends, providing real-time updates and recommendations for rapid responseFostering positive relationships with media personnel
The successful candidate should have 5 years or more experience working in a professional service organization (law firm experience is a plus) and a bachelor's degree (related field of study is preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are a must. Demonstrated project and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, are required.
