Footwear Designer II
to help elevate our Performance Run and Training footwear line. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company and to make athletes of all ages better every day. This role will serve as a versatile role and will focus on both Performance Run and Training footwear.Your Impact
Help to strengthen the UA footwear product engine from the design side, partnering directly with design leaders and teammates.Partner with design leadership to drive concepts for Performance Run and Train footwear.Work and collaborate inclusively with Marketing and Development teams to meet project objectives.Lead creation of seasonal footwear projects and milestone deliverables.Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, renderings and technical drawings.Present design project work within individual project teams and at category design checkpoints.Qualifications
A passion for Design and product creation.Motivation to create compelling, purposeful, performance footwear product.Passionate about Sport and Culture.Ability to think outside the box on footwear concepts rooted in performance needs.Desire to be a great teammate, with a positive attitude and energy.Collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for working within a team.Be open-minded, curious, and inquisitive.Be a good listener, receptive to feedback and other diverse points of view.Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks and successfully meet multiple deadlines.Contribute and align to shared team culture and behaviors.Drive partnerships beyond the Design function (Marketing, Engineering, Development, etc.).5+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.Knowledge of form, color, materials, and human factors related to elevating the consumer experience.Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.Working knowledge of 3D software is a plus.Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings.Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.Must be able to generate a broad range of concepts and solutions for each project.Hand prototyping skills are a plus.Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.Workplace Location

$93,539.60 - $128,615.74 USDMost new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience for the position.
