We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our growing teams in New York, NY, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Washington, DC, Austin, TX, Tampa, FL, and Miami, FL. The successful candidate will collaborate across all levels of staff, applying technical proficiency to solve architectural interior design challenges and coordinate related project activities. The role also involves supporting Business Development and presentation efforts to secure and advance new projects. This position offers a career leadership path with opportunities for increased leadership roles.

How will you contribute to the team?
Define project scope, interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate project assignments.
Conduct programming efforts including space planning, layout, concept designs, furnishings, lighting, and equipment.
Create innovative, practical, safe, and code-compliant design concepts that meet project goals and budgets.
Make timely design and technical decisions collaboratively with the architectural team.
Select materials, furniture, finishes, fittings, and fixtures, including lighting, estimating requirements and costs.
Present professionally to clients, maintain a ‘seller-doer’ approach, and support business development.
Prepare and conduct client presentations, interface with stakeholders, and keep all parties informed.
Possess advanced knowledge of furniture systems, trends, and practices in architectural interiors.
Lead and develop interior design teams, translating designs into Revit-based construction documents.
Produce complete construction documents in BIM, mentor team members, and review work for quality control.
Coordinate with disciplines, vendors, and contractors, review specifications, and create organized exhibits.
Perform site observations, generate field documentation, and provide progress reports.
Manage project BIM models, standards, and conventions; interact with regulatory agencies.
Evaluate products, obtain cost info, and select materials and finishes.
Inspect architectural features, assess conditions, and understand building materials and construction methods.
Manage multiple projects, analyze information, and propose solutions independently.
Create 3D building information models and support construction administration activities.
Support and mentor team members, and perform other duties as needed to support the practice.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture and/or Interior Design.
10-15 years of relevant experience across all phases of interior design, including technical detailing and coordination.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
NCIDQ Certification and/or architecture license in at least one state; LEED AP is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of building codes, life safety, ADA compliance, FF&E, finishes, and specifications.
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in teams.
Experience with large, complex projects and a desire for career growth.
