Roles and Responsibilities:Research and identify government, corporate, foundation and private funding proposals to match CCGD mission.Generate high quality proposals, bids, narratives, applications through timely submission of well-researched, well written and well documented proposals.Maintain responsibility for development of data necessary to support bids and proposals.Maintain responsibility for grant schedules and tracking grants.Coordinate follow up on proposals.Meet with Leadership Team to discuss federal and non-federal awards or projects.Work with Chief Financial Officer to develop budgets for all proposals.Maintain confidentiality of organizational trade secretsKeeps CEO informed of status of all applications.Maintaining master calendar of grants and prospectsQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred.At least 5 years' experience as a successful grant writerPrevious experience with grant budget developmentA proven record of securing major grants with certifiable references.Knowledge and understanding of grant cycles, application process, and data development.Previous federal grant application, submission and approval experience preferred.Strong organizational skillsVery strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors.Expert level written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
