Associate Designer
with a focus on activewear for a 6-month contract role.Salary/Hourly Rate:$25 - $28/hrPosition Overview:This Associate Designer position is critical as we expand our activewear line following a successful partnership with a major retailer. The ideal Associate Designer candidate will have experience in performance activewear design and will work closely with our design and tech teams to develop innovative and functional designs.Responsibilities of the Associate Designer:
Design and develop performance activewear collections with a focus on functionality and style
Collaborate with the CAD Designer and Tech Team to translate design concepts into finished products
Contribute to design meetings and reviews with the Head Designer
Create and present mood boards and design concepts for feedback
Ensure design integrity and consistency across all projects
Qualifications for the Associate Designer:
Experience in designing performance activewear; experience with athleisure is a plus
Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD and some InDesign
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work
Experience with Walmart or similar large retail accounts is a plus, but not required
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
