Disney’s Advertising Data and Measurement Science team is seeking talented people to help bring TV and the advertising industry into the future.
The Disney Advertising Data and Measurement Science team delivers actionable insights to drive ad sales revenue. This department supports the entire Disney media portfolio including Disney, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, FX, Nat Geo and Freeform, as well as the entire ad sales organization including the enablement teams.
Our goal is to remain on the cutting edge of cross-platform research by turning data into insights and managing research ranging from brand effectiveness to custom thought leadership studies. We leverage expertise in media, qualitative and quantitative methodologies and data analysis to help shape research design and drive actionable findings.
Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst of Advertising Sales Audience Advancement will support a team on reach & frequency planning and measurement solutions for Disney Ad Sales. This person will be responsible for delivering on in-market solutions as well as supporting the Senior Manager and Manger needs in pioneering future Disney partnerships in this area of expertise. The Senior Analyst will also help own go-to-market materials, manage vendor relationships, and deliver on actionable recommendations.
The successful candidate will work directly across internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external research vendors to support solutions to measure reach of brands under the Disney umbrella (Hulu, ABC, ESPN, FX, Freeform, National Geographic and more) across the digital ecosphere. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will develop, drive, and oversee end-to-end planning and measurement solutions to ensure the growth of the research ad measurement strategy and the overall bottom line.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Support Senior Manager to grow and manage new and existing partnerships with 3rd party measurement vendors
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of current and potential client’s research and measurement goals, drive the process from consultation, to feasibility, to the development and presentation of the analysis
- Develop and iterate on the workflow, process and go-to-market materials showcasing the power of Disney’s measurement capabilities
- Work with internal stakeholders and senior leaderships to assess future opportunities and areas of collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing and Addressable Solutions teams to create marketing collateral and campaign proposals, providing the necessary research to support and sell through marketing ideas.
- Support the advertising team with research and analytics, including but not limited to audience data, campaign reach and frequency, attention, and first party impression campaign validation
- Manage day-to-day requests on measurement, internal trackers, case studies, sales materials, benchmarks and more.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- 3+ years of work experience of media and advertising research experience, including television and online media, marketing, and strategy.
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Experience with, and a strong understanding of methodology, data, and 3rd party reach measurement solutions
- Experience with independently managing and implementing research and measurement solutions
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of the media business, with an emphasis on the streaming TV landscape.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders (ability to prioritize when presented with conflicting business needs), and across multiple teams (ability to move projects to completion when contingent on other teams)
- Proven ability to collaborate, build consensus, communicate positively, and navigate complex environment
- Must have excellent presentation building and writing skills.
- Must have excellent excel skills, including data transformation, manipulation, validation, and visualization. Including but not limited to lookup functions, IF statements, PivotTables and experience in dashboarding.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $98,600 - $132,200 per year, and in Santa Monica, CA is $94,200 - $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
