Lopito, Ileana & Howie, Inc., one of Puerto Rico’s leading advertising agencies, is seeking a Social Media Executive to coordinate social media communication for our clients. As a Social Media Executive, you will lead the ideation, development, and execution of socially driven campaigns that deliver cultural relevance, earned media buzz, and measurable business impact. This role calls for a creative and strategic thinker who can effortlessly shift between big-picture brand strategy and day-to-day content execution, while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and oversee the creation of monthly content calendars and social media campaigns that are insight-driven and results-oriented.
- Manage daily platform activity, audience engagement, campaign performance, and reporting—ensuring all actions align with client objectives.
- Help generate and develop everything from attention-grabbing big ideas designed to drive earned media, to reactive and real-time social content that rides the cultural wave.
- Present creative concepts internally and to clients with clarity and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate closely with account management, creative, media, and production teams to shape campaigns that are cohesive, compelling, and aligned with brand strategy.
- Assist in building visually dynamic creative decks that make complex ideas feel simple and impactful.
- Spearhead the creation of engaging brand narratives and online conversations. Identify and collaborate with influencers to expand reach and relevance, in line with strategic goals.
- Conduct ongoing research into consumer behavior, emerging trends, and cultural moments to inform social strategy, creative direction, and content development. Keep the agency ahead of platform updates and best practices.
- Analyze performance metrics to guide decision-making and continuously improve creative output. Translate social media insights into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to the development of broader brand strategy, identifying resonant key messages and story angles that elevate brand perception across digital channels.
- Prioritize and manage multiple fast-paced projects with short turnarounds. Receive, interpret, and integrate feedback with a focus on enhancing ideas without losing sight of strategic intent.
- Foster a collaborative environment rooted in respect, curiosity, and creative experimentation. Be a team player who uplifts others while maintaining high standards of execution.
Profile:
- A strategic mind.
- Organized and highly detail-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- 100% written and verbal fluency in both Spanish and English (will be tested during the recruiting process).
- Proven track record of developing successful social campaigns that drive engagement and buzz.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to simplify complex ideas into client-ready storytelling.
- Comfortable working across disciplines and communicating effectively with both creative and analytical minds.
- Preferred: knowledge of relevant softwares such as Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite, Slack, Basecamp, Infinity.
- Preferred: knowledge of relevant platforms such as Meta (FB & IG), LinkedIn, Youtube, TikTok, X & Threads.
