Social Media Specialist Overview
SWE Homes is seeking a creative and strategic Digital Marketing Specialist to join our fast-paced marketing team. This role requires a bilingual (Spanish-English) professional with proven experience in content creation, social media management, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging digital content-including short-form videos-managing social media platforms and collaborating across departments to support company-wide initiatives. Strong writing skills, fluency in Spanish, and a proactive mindset are essential to thrive in this role. Develop engaging social media content that aligns with the company's brand identity and voice.
Job Description:
- Create and edit short-form videos for social platforms (Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, SWE Homes website, etc.) to enhance engagement and visibility.
- Write and edit social media posts, ensuring consistent messaging and tone across all channels.
- Engage with customers and promote ongoing campaigns through strategic content planning.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather insights and develop content that reflects and promotes organizational priorities.
- Optimize company pages on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and our website to maximize reach.
- Monitor, engage with, and respond to social media followers in a timely and professional manner.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to track performance, audience behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the overall social media marketing approach based on data and industry trends.
- Stay informed about evolving best practices and new trends in content creation, social media algorithms, and platform updates.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the marketing and communications team.
Requirements and skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations or a related field
- Two or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate setting
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and verbal communication skills with a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
- Experience using various analytics software, working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills.
