Located in the DC area, Men’s Health Network seeks an organized, motivated individual to build relationships with the media and develop Internet-based projects as part of a marketing/public relations team.
Areas of Responsibility
- Maintain YouTube pages and manage the organization's WordPress and Drupal pages, blogs, and other social media including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Implement electronic marketing and fundraising programs.
- Design and prepare email & newsletter promotion materials.
- Monitor, analyze, and maximize site traffic and e-mail captures.
- Research and strategize web improvement mechanisms including SEO for MHN websites.
- Develop video content, PSAs, and related initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with leadership and MHN's partners to implement programs and projects, representing MHN at coalition meetings.

- Advanced social media skills and marketing expertise.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Press release/op-ed experience.
- In-depth understanding of web presence and its impact on marketing.
- Solid understanding of web technologies and experience with content management systems.
- Good organizational skills.
- A passion for promoting the health and well-being of men and boys.
The successful candidate will work out of MHN's Old Town, Virginia office, approximately 4 blocks from the King Street Metro station.
Men's Health Network (MHN) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to reaching men, boys, and their families with health awareness and disease prevention messages, screening programs, educational materials, advocacy opportunities, and patient navigation.
