ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a full-time Publicity Coordinator to join our Publicity team. The Publicity Coordinator will provide general support to the Publicity team, including assisting in all daily activities, Member events and activities, and Summer Camp preparation and registration. This role will also act as the first point of contact for the Publicity team, providing initial response and assistance to all general inquiries and directing inquiries to appropriate team member as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Publicity Coordinator must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Publicity Director including but not limited to:Manage all Member inquiries via phone, email and in person, directing questions and requests to the appropriate team member as neededAssist in the overall organization of the Publicity office, including office supplies and all event and activity materialsManage filing system of all Publicity and Member event and activity documentationManage database for all Summer Camp registrations, assuring documentation is accurate, up to date and organizedProvide support in the organization and transportation of Campers, assuring Camp schedules are generally abided by Provide general support to Publicity Director and Graphic Designer as neededWHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum of one year of experience in a professional setting preferredBachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality or other related field of study preferredProficiency in Mac platform requiredProficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop a plusProficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel requiredMust have ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends and holidaysStrong customer service skills requiredAbility to adapt to computer systems and programs quickly and effectively requiredMust be well-organized, detail oriented and a quick problem solver, capable of adapting to changes in real time while maintaining exceptional presentation and resultsMust be able to work effectively within a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, capable of managing several projects at once with maximum efficacyPAY RANGE
$21.00-$23.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience
