The Brand Manager will play a vital role in overall brand strategy and go-to-market campaigns that support all AutoNation products & services. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple working relationships within and outside of the organization to ensure all internal and external communications align with overall brand strategy, look, and feel.
Organizational Relationships
The Manager, Brand will report directly to the Sr. Director, Brand and establish and nurture strong relationships with marketing leads, ensuring seamless collaboration and synergy in implementing brand initiatives. Additionally, this individual will actively engage with cross-functional departments including Operations, HR, and other key stakeholders across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with our company's vision, values, and business goals.
- Continually refine and evolve our brand positioning to remain relevant and competitive in the market.
- Define and communicate the brand's purpose, values, and mission to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain an understanding of market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to refine and enhance the brand's positioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure AutoNations business goals are represented and aligned within marketing efforts.
- Facilitate monthly cross-functional planning meetings, ensuring deliverable timelines are met across teams.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Demonstrate and advocate company vision, mission, and values. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with agencies, ensuring SLAs and allocated budgets are maximized.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in automotive marketing or related industries, with a focus on marketing strategy development and execution.
- Strong grasp of branding principles, market trends, and consumer behavior.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively, and thriving in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Capable of inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams.
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with automotive industry trends and best practices is preferred.
- Must meet companys employment requirements.
