Own communications assignments to cement strategy/frameworks, project manage deliverables, and write content for relevant materials/decks.Play a key role in shaping and executing a bold and strategic transformation agenda for BCG's global communications function in line with the overall BCG strategyBe a valued strategic thought partner to the Communications Leadership TeamDrive the continuous improvement and integration of our functional End-to-End operating modelProvide strategic direction to key transformation initiatives to drive real change across our capabilitiesWork closely with our Finance Business partners to oversee the communication team's budgetEnsure a smooth, day-to-day operation focused on service excellence and business acumenDrive and set agendas for meetings within the Marketing function pertaining to the communicaiton's team (e.g., MCLT, MCOT) and with BCG senior leaders (e.g., EC, OC, IC).Oversee and manage members of the Communications Transformation teamYOU'RE GOOD ATYou are an experienced professional with proven analytical and leadership experience in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, client-oriented environment, with the raw intelligence and interpersonal skills to build teams and relationships throughout a highly matrixed organization.
Good judgment, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style with a track record for being able to connect as a trusted peer with firm leadership, MDPs, consultants and BSTSuperior stakeholder management skills especially with senior members of the organizationAn ability to take a big picture approach and consider the ramifications of decisions by various constituenciesSharp and focused with strong capabilities to structure contentStrong analytical skills and the capability to track and objectively evaluate effectiveness & efficiencyOutstanding, confident written and verbal communication skillsStrong people management and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems across multiple domainsAbility to perform effectively under pressureConsistent management of changing situations with tact, poise, and patienceYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Proven track record of implementing and managing processes in complex organizationsExperience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organizationProven ability to work with senior MDPs in client-facing and internal settingsExtensive Marketing expertise (highly valued)Experience of working on political agendas and communications preferredAt a minimum, you will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business related fieldMinimum of 6 years-experience in management consulting or other similar field, BCG consulting experience strongly preferredMinimum of 2 year-experience in project leader role in top-tier management consulting firm, BCG consulting experience strongly preferredYOU'LL WORK WITHBCG's Chief Communications Officer Russell Dubner, Office of the CEO, Chief Risk Officer, Office of the Regional Chairs, M&C's transformation office, the Communications Leadership Team, the GS M&C Team Leads. In addition, you will collaborate with other parts of BCG, including the M&C leads of our PA, X, Regions, HR, Finance, and other functions.
