UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work full-time as a Clinical Coordinator in our Air Care & Mobile Care Communication Center.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the level of transport care provider; BLS, ALS, MICU, Air.
• Collaborate with referring and receiving care providers and transport team to ensure safe and appropriate resource utilization.
• Provide clinical leadership for communication specialists in coordinating ground and air transports.
• Work as a clinical resource for transport crew members and referring care providers.
• Communicate patient information professionally, respecting privacy.
• Document all clinical information per standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to meet transport needs.
• Follow departmental policies and standards.
• Maintain transport request database and participate in quality assurance.
• Maintain clinical competencies.

Operational and Professional Responsibilities

• Report on time, collaborate with leadership, ensure staffing, and understand operational procedures.
• Remain current in nursing and transport industry standards.
• Contribute to team growth and educate colleagues.

Safety and Customer Service

• Maintain a safe work environment, prioritize safety in operations.
• Demonstrate Core RITE values, support patient and family-centered care, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Current Ohio nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• 3-5 years of experience; EMS experience preferred.
