The Paola Free Library is taking applications for student aides. Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and/or Library Director, the Student Library Aide is responsible for seeing that all material returned to the library is checked in and filed correctly back onto the library shelves or other housing. The Aide is also responsible for keeping the books, audio and visual material, and other library materials in correct order on the shelves.

Qualifications

This position requires that the student aide be enrolled in a public, private or home school. This position requires the ability to handle a frequently fast-paced environment with numerous interruptions. Ability to use computers and electronic databases. Should possess good communication skills and public relations. The ability to accept change.
