What You Will Do:The Designer will provide designs, calculations, drawings, BOMs, etc. for various product initiatives.Design of custom heat exchangers using Solidworks and AutoCADGenerate detail drawings, BOM's, and Manufacturing RequirementsPerform ASME code calculations to support the overall design (training in Codeware Compress software provided)Prepare layouts for components and subassemblies with focus on designing for cost and manufacturabilityProvide engineering and technical support for the layout, design, and evaluation of equipment, including checking of drawings and other related engineering documents.Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, application engineering, and sales to deliver customer projectsEnsure the design of equipment adheres to current standardsSupport the team with validating each other's output, analysis of results, and other efforts to produce world-class products
What You Bring:Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Computer Aided Drafting/ Design TechnologyExperience with Solidworks (or Autodesk Inventor)Collaborative, analytical, and solution focusedVersatile, highly motivated, and team oriented attitudeFamiliarity with Continuous Improvement tools and/or methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) is a plus
