Artist Discovery: Identify and locate artists who play the ukulele and bass guitar across various genres of music. Assess potential artist partners based on their talent, style, and social media influence.Social Media Analysis: Evaluate artists’ social media presence, engagement metrics, and overall influence. Keep abreast of trends and emerging artists in the music industry.Collaboration and Outreach: Establish and maintain relationships with identified artists. Develop and implement collaboration strategies to leverage both the artist’s and our company’s social media channels. Coordinate promotional activities, campaigns, and events to enhance artist visibility and brand presence. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Negotiate with other brands for social media and product collaborations.Coordinate brand presence at festivals, including Kala artist attendance.Coordinate artist demos at trade shows.Write artist-related blog posts and conduct interviews with artists for the Kala website.Maintain artist and affiliate agreements.Reporting on royalty and commission.
Qualifications:
Ability to negotiate.Proven experience in artist relations or a related field.Strong knowledge of the music industry, particularly with ukulele and bass guitar artists.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of social media platforms and tools (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube).Ability to analyze social media metrics and derive actionable insights.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to attend live concerts from time to time.Ability to coordinate live demos: set up and maintain demo schedules and work with live sound equipment.
