Responsibilities:
Work with existing clients and develop prospective clients, completing interior restaurant decor, lighting, and dining room layouts. Proficiency in AutoCAD and rendering programs to draw and illustrate interior designs is required.
Develop interior elevations and working construction drawings, including detailed shop drawings.
Accurately complete take-offs for restaurant projects.
Maintain ongoing communication with customers and project managers to ensure project delivery timelines are met.
Coordinate with internal team members regarding project production schedules and design details.
Maintain showroom sales presence to local and online customers.
Develop extensive knowledge of the company's inventory of nautical decor items for theming in new restaurant or entertainment projects.
Research current trends in the restaurant and commercial entertainment industry.
Qualifications:
Strong project management skills with previous experience.
Experience in restaurant or commercial design is a plus.
Skills in interior commercial theming, prop staging, and merchandising.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other interior rendering software.
Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Experience with project tracking software is desirable.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and a self-starter.
Good research skills.
