Courses are taught in person at the West Long Branch campus. Adjunct positions remain posted continuously to expand the university's pool of qualified adjunct faculty. Screening of applications will commence when an open position becomes available. - Teach 3-6 credits during the semester.
- Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions and assignments in accordance with the curriculum and learning objectives.
- Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student engagement and academic success.
- Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate student learning outcomes and provide grades in a timely manner.
- Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and development.Enrichment Statement:Monmouth University values diversity and invites applications from underrepresented groups who will enrich the teaching and service missions of the university.Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Arts (MA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), or Ph.D. in Digital Communications, Design, or a related field.
- Must be versed in standard graphic software packages to teach graduate students advanced-level digital media skills (audio, video, and web design) while also challenging students intellectually and conceptually.Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialization in film making, animation, sound production, web design, and new media.
- Experience at institutions focused on the liberal arts and with prior professional and college-level teaching and media services experience.
