The Senior Content Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with the Senior Communications Manager and other members of the Marketing Communications team to develop and execute internal and external communications strategies and tactics for the Affiliate. She/he will act as the key marketing liaison for Family Services, Partnerships and Advocacy teams to align strategies, key deliverables and goals for marketing communications.
Essential Functions
Develop and collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to create strategic marketing content to support Family Services, Partnerships and Donor goals.Develop and execute organic social media strategy and collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute required organic social media postsCollaborate with Marketing Manager and execute paid social media tactics for Habitat Charlotte Region Affiliate on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedInManage incoming marketing project requests related to Family Services, Advocacy and PartnershipsReport on content metrics/KPIs to Marketing Communications team and department leadershipManage capture of digital assets to support partner recognition and execute posts on social platformsEnsure digital assets are accurately stored within digital asset management repositoryLead community management on social platformsAssist with development of ReStore content (images, videos) as needed
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience
• 3+ years prior experience in communications, social media and/or content creation
• Proficiency using digital marketing analytics, social media management and email marketing tools
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Highly organized and deadline focused
Photography & videography experience strongly preferred
Work Environment
This position requires working primarily indoors in an office setting, as well as driving between locations within the service area in all types of weather.
Physical Demands
• Ability work in office environment as needed which requires ability to speak, hear, with the visual and manual dexterity to manage papers, reports, and typing
• Must embody the capacity to maintain the following for several hours at a time: use of personal computer or similar technology, phone, sitting as required
• Ability to communicate in person, over the phone and/or via computer
• Ability to provide personal transportation to and from local events and assignments
• Drive between locations in Charlotte metro area
