This work can be performed remotely from your home-office at the discretion of the Company. The position is part-time (20 hours/week) for approximately 15 (or 8) weeks during the summer of 2025. Assist in editing video content for social media, marketing campaigns, presentations, and internal communications;
Cut, trim, and assemble clips into engaging stories with attention to pacing, timing, and narrative flow; Add text overlays, transitions, simple animations, and basic color correction or audio leveling as needed; Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align video output with brand standards and messaging goals; Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new video content; Take direction and feedback constructively and revise edits based on input from supervisors; Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and tools to suggest new ideas or improvements; Support in managing video archives and maintaining an organized content library; and Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field. (required) Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Competency in video editing software, with a preference for Adobe Premiere Pro is beneficial. Familiarity with audio editing is beneficial. Strong storytelling and visual composition skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
