Multimedia Specialist in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
Experience with Davinci Resolve is a plus.
Drone piloting experience is a plus.
Virtual Production experience is a plus.
Experience with DMX lighting is a plus.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in photography, film, motion graphics, or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years of direct multimedia production or post-production experience.
Position Purpose:
Working with minimal guidance or under direction, the Multimedia Specialist is responsible for developing creative multimedia content, ensuring consistent quality and branding of multimedia marketing content. This position may travel frequently for on-location shoots.
Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Support the planning, production, and post-production of multimedia content with direction from a Multimedia Senior Specialist, Supervisor, or Manager.
Work with subject matter experts from internal organizations to develop new content supporting strategic Marketing activities across multiple channels.
Contribute technical and creative knowledge to design concepts working closely with other artists.
Direct the actions of talent during on-set productions.
Support the Corporate Communications team to develop and execute multimedia content for social media channels.
Provide on-location shoots with lighting, camera, or audio production support.
Collaborate closely with all team members to ensure work is completed on time and within budget/scope.
Research new video/photography techniques for implementation into future project developments.
Additional Functions:
Transport production equipment and follow on-set safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, details, and priorities under extremely tight deadlines and schedules.
Experience with the use of DSLR and professional-level video cameras.
Cinematography and post-production editing.
Experience in the use of professional video lighting techniques.
Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere).
Proficient in the use of compression technologies.
Assist internal customers with material requests for video footage.
Ability to survey an environment, identify lighting/sound needs, and set up video equipment to capture high-quality footage for marketing and communication use.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interview and interact with employees, Senior Leadership, and customers.
