Job Overview:
The Marketing Consulting team is seeking a Marketing Consultant for the Independent Advisor Network affiliation model.
In addition, the Marketing Consultant is a skilled presenter, delivering compelling and informative sessions on a wide array of marketing topics. As a part of the broader LPL Marketing Solutions organization, we act as a concierge guiding our clients through the array of resources and support available in our marketing ecosystem and providing expert recommendations. In addition, in this position, you will be the main marketing point of contact for the LPL Large Enterprises you'll be supporting. You will combine your knowledge of the web, blogging, email campaigns, and social media publishing with your business acumen to develop and execute engaging digital marketing programs for multiple LPL Large Enterprises.
This role will join the Business Strategy and Innovation (BSI) team where we unite strategy, experience, and innovation to enhance the overall client experience for advisors, large enterprises, and institutions. BSI plays a critical role in everything from setting and executing on our firm's strategic direction to developing and delivering powerful business services that help our clients succeed. With the goal of enhancing our client's day to day experience in everything we do, we seek to proactively identify and address our clients' most significant challenges. Together, the BSI team works to establish LPL as the model of choice in Wealth Management.
Responsibilities:
This role will be dedicated to assigned enterprises and their advisors, offering marketing expertise, tailored recommendations, and exclusive training to help them grow their business through marketing.
- Proactively reach out to advisors within assigned enterprises
- Offer one-on-one consulting with advisors and teams, providing tailored recommendations and expert marketing advice
- Present marketing best practices on a variety of topics via dedicated webinars and at in-person events
- Stay up-to-date on marketing trends and tactics
- Collect, share, and take action on advisor feedback as needed
- Analyze, interpret, and report on key business results
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of tools and resources available to support advisors, including both internal solutions and third party vendors
- Assist advisors with navigating the many resources available to them through their affiliation with LPL
- Drive awareness and adoption of LPL Business Solutions options, including Marketing Solutions for additional hands-on support
- Maintain availability to advisors and their staff via phone and email to address questions as needed and respond in a timely fashion
- Collaborate with team members for continuous learning and to support consistency in our offering
- Support LPL Large Enterprise's digital marketing strategies via phone, video conferencing and email
- Evaluate each Large Enterprise's digital marketing needs and develop a customized strategy to achieve KPIs.
- Curate and implement digital marketing editorial calendars for each Large Enterprise. Examples of deliverables are blogs, e-newsletter, email campaigns, digital ads, and social media platforms month-over-month to align with the Large Enterprise's overarching goals
- Evaluate a plan to consistently maintain each Large Enterprise's website to enhance as needed
- Establish and measure ROI and KPIs such as email CTR, social media engagement, and website traffic
- Collaborate with compliance to ensure the content, brand, and messaging are approved
- 3-5 years hands-on marketing experience
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), and SmartSheet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Works well in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Resourceful with the ability to work autonomously but also contribute and work well on teams, collaborative, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communication, Journalism or a related field
- Solid knowledge of CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management
- Experience in financial services preferred
- Experience working with marketing technology platforms a plus
$60,188-$100,313/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
