We offer a full suite of services, from initial design consultations and 3D renderings to managing all aspects of the remodel, including cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, and tile. Position Summary:
National Kitchen & Bath Showrooms is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Marketing Director with deep expertise in state-of-the-art SEO and Google Ads optimization. This role will be pivotal in driving organic growth, enhancing our online presence, and maximizing ROI from paid advertising campaigns to attract high-intent leads for luxury kitchen and bath remodels. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader who can both develop comprehensive strategies and oversee their meticulous execution, ensuring National Kitchen & Bath Showrooms remains a leader in the competitive home improvement market. This position reports directly to the CEO and will manage a Marketing Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- State-of-the-Art SEO Optimization:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on driving qualified organic traffic for luxury kitchen and bath services.
- AI Overview & Zero-Click Optimization: Optimize content and website structure to rank for AI Overviews and featured snippets, recognizing the shift towards generative AI and zero-click searches.
- E-E-A-T Enhancement: Lead initiatives to bolster Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) signals across all digital assets, including showcasing designer credentials, case studies, and customer testimonials.
- Advanced Keyword Research & Content Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research, including long-tail, conversational, and local intent keywords specific to kitchen and bath remodeling. Develop a content calendar and strategy that addresses user queries, provides unique insights, and showcases National Kitchen & Bath Showrooms' expertise (e.g., "Integrating Technology Without Compromising Design," "Stylish Bathroom Upgrades").
- Local SEO Dominance: Optimize Google My Business profiles, ensure consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) information across directories, encourage and manage customer reviews, and create location-specific content to capture local search demand in the Denver and Jacksonville areas.
- Technical SEO Excellence: Oversee and implement technical SEO audits and improvements, including site speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema markup (e.g., FAQ schema for service pages), and site architecture to ensure crawlability and indexability across multiple search engines (including those powering AI like Bing/ChatGPT).
- Link Building & Authority: Develop and execute a robust link-building strategy, identifying high-quality outreach opportunities, guest posting, and partnerships to enhance domain authority and online credibility.
- Alternative Media Optimization: Integrate and optimize image and video content (e.g., showroom tours, project showcases, designer interviews) with relevant metadata for visual search and engaging younger demographics.
- Analytics & Reporting: Utilize advanced SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4) to monitor performance, analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.
- Algorithm Adaptation: Stay abreast of the latest Google algorithm updates and industry trends, proactively adapting SEO strategies to maintain and improve search rankings.
- Google Ads Optimization:
- Campaign Strategy & Management: Design, implement, and optimize comprehensive Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video, Shopping, App) to generate high-quality leads for kitchen and bath design services.
- Performance Max & Automation: Leverage Google Ads' automation features, including Performance Max campaigns, responsive search ads, and smart bidding strategies, while maintaining a deep understanding of their underlying mechanics.
- Granular Keyword Management: Conduct thorough keyword research, including negative keywords, to ensure precise targeting and maximize ad relevance, focusing on high-intent transactional terms.
- Compelling Ad Copy & Creative: Develop persuasive and concise ad copy, headlines, and descriptions that highlight National Kitchen & Bath Showrooms' unique selling propositions (e.g., "award-winning luxury kitchen and bath remodeling," "experienced designers," "free designer consultation"). Utilize ad assets like sitelinks and image assets effectively.
- Audience Targeting & Segmentation: Implement advanced audience targeting strategies based on demographics, geographics, interests, and behaviors to reach ideal clients for luxury home improvement.
- Budget Management & ROI Maximization: Effectively manage and optimize ad spend across campaigns to achieve defined Cost Per Lead (CPL) and Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) targets.
- Landing Page Optimization: Collaborate with web development and design teams to ensure landing pages are highly relevant to ad copy, provide excellent user experience, and are optimized for conversion (CRO).
- A/B Testing: Continuously run A/B tests on ad copy, headlines, landing pages, and bidding strategies to identify top-performing elements and iteratively improve campaign performance.
- Conversion Tracking & Reporting: Implement and monitor robust conversion tracking mechanisms. Provide detailed performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Staying Updated: Keep current with new Google Ads features, policies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
III. Leadership & General Marketing Skills:
- Strategic Thinking: Develop and articulate a clear vision for digital marketing that aligns with National Kitchen & Bath Showrooms' overall business goals.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data from various marketing platforms, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Directly manage, mentor, and develop a Marketing Analyst, fostering their growth and ensuring effective team performance. Collaborate effectively with internal teams (designers, sales, web developers) and external agencies/vendors to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
- Communication: Clearly articulate complex SEO and Google Ads concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple campaigns and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all digital channels.
- Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and adapting to the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape, particularly with advancements in AI and search engine algorithms.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of 7+ years in digital marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role specifically focused on SEO and Google Ads.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing direct reports.
- Demonstrable expertise in current SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, technical SEO, local SEO, and E-E-A-T.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads platform, campaign types, bidding strategies, and optimization techniques for lead generation.
- Proficiency with leading SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) and Google marketing platforms (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google My Business, Google Ads).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
