EA SPORTS reignited the passion for college football with EA SPORTS College Football, a top sports title in North America. Due to high demand, EA SPORTS is bringing back college football, and is seeking diverse talent passionate about this genre. This Content Designer role will focus on EA SPORTS College Football content, reporting to the team Producer and Development Director. The designer will manage core and meta-game aspects and develop live service features to entertain players.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the game vision as set by the Creative Director and Product Owner.
- Manage all design aspects of a game-as-service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create engaging designs and prototypes maintaining high quality standards.
- Balance gameplay considering fun, player acquisition, monetization, and engagement.
- Preserve the core brand values and experience of the original IP in live service.
- Inspire the team with progressive, creative design ideas.
- Provide and receive constructive critique with suggestions for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, new game genres, design methods, and platforms.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Game Design or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of industry experience in game design or QA.
- Knowledge of NFL or College Football, including players and teams.
- Experience in creating and implementing game concepts with various tools.
- Enthusiasm for sports gaming.
- Problem-solving skills, individually or in teams.
- Experience with Live Service mechanics, theories, and implementation.
