Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Wood Dale, IL (100% Onsite)
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $85k-$115k

Sterling Engineering is seeking a Marketing Manager to join a creative marketing team at a leading manufacturing company.The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detailoriented, and able to balance strategic vision with handson execution.Youwill guide a small team of junior marketers—setting clear goals, providing ongoing mentorship, and championing their professional growth—while still rolling up your sleeves to deliver campaigns, content, and analytics yourself.
Job Duties:
Lead all website development, design, content updates, and SEO initiatives to ensure an engaging user experience and accurate product information.
Oversee thirdparty marketing partners, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and reconciling invoices with Accounting for timely payment.
Develop channel strategy, create content calendars, schedule posts, and track analytics across LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
Plan, build, and execute email campaigns (newsletters, product launches, promotions), segmenting lists and analyzing open/clickthrough rates to drive continual improvement.
Design and update the annual product catalog, sell sheets, brochures, and other print/digital assets; refresh pages between printings to keep pricing and specs current.
Maintain the company’s Master Price Book, posting approved updates and distributing changes to Sales, Customer Service, and Finance.
Create and place print, digital, and webbased ads; reconcile advertising invoices and track ROI.
Design booths, graphics, and promotional materials; coordinate logistics and postshow lead followup.
Serve as backup photographer/videographer; organize and maintain the digital asset library for easy internal access.
Assist in producing executive presentations and sales decks that align with brand guidelines.
Administer Moderator Remote Email monitoring system; ensure customer inquiries are routed promptly.
Convert vendor product manuals to company templates and create/print product labels.
Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Accounting to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and ensure invoice accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial products.
Superior creative and analytical abilities; proven success using data to shape strategy and measure results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to all organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to guide and motivate crossfunctional teams and outside agencies while juggling multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
