We are seeking to hire a talented Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for writing, be able to create compelling and engaging content, and be able to meet deadlines. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content for our website, blog, social media, and other marketing materials.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research industry-related topics & update website content as needed (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
- Submit work to editors for input and approval.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
Job Skills:
- Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones.
- Impeccable spelling and grammar.
- A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online.
- Great research, organizational, and learning skills.
- High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
- Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices.
- Some experience with online marketing and lead generation.
- An understanding of formatting articles on the web.
