This position will report to the Athlete Content Manager on the Athlete Exchange team. This team helps manage and create branded and organic content for the digital properties of Wasserman athletes, as well as pitch and manage branded athlete content projects that include commercial production shoots, paid media management, and custom graphics or imagery creation.
Please note: This is an unpaid internship. Candidates must be eligible to receive college credit as compensation for this internship. Candidates selected to move forward in the interview process will need to submit proof of eligibility to receive academic credit for their time interning with Wasserman, and will be disqualified if they are unable to do so.
Day-to-day Duties IncludeHelp ideate & create athlete social media content and maintain detailed knowledge of team sports landscapeHelp create resources for our clients to stay up to date on the best social practices and new updates across platformAssist with gathering social media analytics for clients and marketing/sales teamAssist with team tasks and special projects as neededREQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to earn college credit for an internshipTime commitment of 15 - 20 hours per weekUnderstanding of all social media platforms and their functionsMust have a strong interest in and knowledge of the sports industry, and actively be immerse and follow professional athletes on social mediaPrior marketing, production or sports industry experience preferredCandidates with strong writing skills, and copy writing, Adobe Creative Suite, design, and/ or social media management experience strongly preferredMust be able to come into our LA office 1-2x per week

The fall internship program goes from September 10 - December 13

Interns will attain a rewarding learning experience by interning for a large sports/entertainment company, as well as learning the importance of business organization and management.
