The Role
CAA seeks an Assistant to support an agent in the Music Brand Partnerships department in New York. This team specializes in music branding and marketing across all genres, developing strategic campaigns and partnerships between music clients and brands globally. The ideal candidate should be interested in advertising, marketing, or promotional events.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset, a clear vision, and a passion for integrating musicians with brands beyond live concerts. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, industry-immersed, and capable of communicating effectively with clients, agents, and executives while maintaining discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support: manage schedules, book travel, handle call logs, prepare expense reports, draft correspondence, and assist with special projects.
- Anticipate executive needs; proactively support and provide resources for success.
- Communicate directly with brands, agencies, clients, managers, labels, and promoters.
- Implement, fulfill, and track deal deliverables and key items.
- Track contracts, leads, talent ideas, and deposits related to partnership deals.
- Draft and organize creative materials for artists and events, such as one-sheets and decks, and maintain organizational updates.
- Handle various projects and tasks as needed.
- Maintain industry knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the music industry; experience in brand partnerships is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and composure under pressure with changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Service-oriented with a team-focused attitude.
- Good judgment in representing CAA professionally.
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college preferred.

Compensation
The hourly rate ranges from $20.00 to $22.00, with benefits and discretionary bonuses. Wages may vary based on experience, role duration, sector, and location. Please consult a CAA Recruiter for more details.
