Job Description
About the Role: The Instructional Multimedia Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation and delivery of multimedia learning solutions across the organization. This entry-level role focuses on producing engaging instructional videos, assisting with virtual learning facilitation, and contributing to innovative training content using foundational instructional design principles. Through collaboration with subject matter experts and use of modern learning tools, the specialist enhances internal training efforts that support Takeda’s mission of bringing better health to people.
How You Will Contribute:
Assist in the development of instructional videos and multimedia content that support learning goals, using tools like Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, and PowerPoint.
Contribute to content planning and needs analysis efforts by gathering feedback and understanding audience profiles.
Support the facilitation of virtual learning sessions and multimedia learning communities (e.g., “Video Club”), helping to foster knowledge sharing and creativity.
Perform video editing and post-production tasks independently.
Operate within learning management systems (LMS) to upload and manage multimedia content.
Create clear and visually effective presentations and video scripts aligned with established templates and branding standards.
Stay current with trends in instructional technology and multimedia to contribute ideas that enhance learner engagement.
Apply foundational project management skills to manage individual tasks and timelines for assigned learning projects.
What you bring to Takeda:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in instructional design, communication, multimedia production, education, or a related field.
Foundational understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
Experience using video creation/editing tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
Proficiency in designing presentations and writing video scripts or voiceovers.
Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Comfort with facilitating virtual sessions and engaging diverse audiences.
Experience working with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
Curious, adaptable, and eager to grow technical and creative skills in a dynamic team environment.
Important Considerations:
Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs., lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull > 100 lbs. (with the assistance of material handling equipment).
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time over an entire shift.
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning.
May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and/or squatting motions to perform certain tasks.
Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.
Will work in a cold, wet environment.
Must be able to work multiple shifts, including holidays and shutdown. Must be able to work overtime as required.

For Location: USA - GA - Social Circle - Hwy 278 U.S. Base Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $88,000.00 The estimated salary range reflects
an anticipated
range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education

, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
