Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Nashville, TN
Work Type: Remote, 9 am - 5 pm, 40 hours/week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learning Experience Designer converts instructor-led training (ILT) to self-guided eLearning curriculum for on-demand delivery, including transformation of multi-day classroom experiences into interactive, self-paced learning modules
- Develop multiple versions of specialized training programs to enable flexible, on-demand credentialing approaches
- Create interactive and engaging activities that translate in-person training experiences to digital formats
- Utilize generative AI tools to enhance content creation and learning experiences
- Produce learning materials across multiple formats, including self-study, practice exercises, performance support tools, and knowledge-sharing resources
- Create project plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide regular status updates
- Analyze learning solution data to provide actionable insights on success metrics and KPIs
- Learning Experience Designer works autonomously with minimal supervision while following written directions and procedures
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of proven instructional design experience with a portfolio of completed learning content
- Hands-on experience with generative AI applications and research methodologies
- Proficiency with required tools:
- eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Vyond)
- Screen recording software (Camtasia)
- Adobe Creative Cloud suite
- Google Suite LMS environments (Docebo preferred)
- Project management expertise with Agile SCRUM methodologies
- Applied knowledge of instructional design models, including Action Mapping, ADDIE, and adult learning principles
- Demonstrated portfolio showing successful delivery of:
- Conversion of instructor-led training to eLearning formats
- Self-guided curriculum development with interactive elements
- Instructor-led training (ILT)
- Blended learning solutions
- Simulations and game-based learning ELearning, Microlearning, and just-in-time solutions
- Job aids and infographics
- Video and animation/motion graphics
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while following written procedures
- Strong written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience designing for diverse, global audiences with varying educational and cultural backgrounds
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize competing needs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred
- Immediate Execution Requirements
- Must be able to begin contributing to active projects within the first week
- Portfolio review and skills assessment will be conducted during the selection process
- No onboarding or training period - contractor must demonstrate immediate proficiency with all listed tools and methodologies
