Ready to lead the social media strategy for a fast-growing, fashion tech brand? Velvet Caviar is looking for a dynamic Social Media Director to oversee and elevate our brand’s social presence, totaling over 1.2 million followers across platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives brand awareness, storytelling, engagement, and conversions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Strategize a new social media strategy to grow brand awareness and loyalty across all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), focused mostly on content innovation
Plan and deliver disruptive social media content for new product launches, collaborations, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and content in between
Direct the sourcing and development of content needed for all social media channels
Oversee all social media content published, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity while maximizing storytelling, engagement, and traffic growth.
Lead a team of social media contributors and partner with production on content development
Implement and manage a process for ideating and testing new paid social content concepts
Monthly reporting on key metrics and trends, along with actionable insights for improvements
Manage the social media content budget, ensuring the most effective allocation of resources.
Monitor trends and emerging platforms, ensuring Velvet Caviar remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
WHAT YOU BRING:
7+ years of experience in social media strategy and management, preferably for a consumer brand.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Strong creative vision, with a deep understanding of social media trends, aesthetics, and engagement tactics.
Expertise in paid social media advertising, including campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking.
Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and content development skills.
Experience in influencer marketing and strategic brand partnerships.
Proficiency in social media analytics tools, Google Suite, Meta Business Manager, and content creation platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.).
Hands-on experience with short-form content creation (iPhone photography/videography is a plus).
Strong ability to interpret data and optimize strategies accordingly.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive results.
