POSITION SUMMARY Aniplex of America is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Supervisor to join our team in Santa Monica, CA. This role involves overseeing daily marketing operations, managing a team, developing strategies, and analyzing campaign effectiveness. The position requires strong leadership, teamwork, and a passion for anime. Skills in design, copywriting, public speaking, and digital platforms are essential. The position has a HYBRID schedule. Employees are expected to work onsite in Santa Monica at least 2 days per week. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and lead the marketing team, providing guidance and support. Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve business goals. Ensure consistency of marketing materials with brand guidelines. Maintain knowledge of IPs for brand awareness. Manage marketing calendar for multiple shows and campaigns. Support SEO and content optimization efforts. Oversee marketing campaigns across events, digital, print, and social media. Create digital content and copy aligned with brand tone. Support production team with quality control of documents. Plan and host marketing events, including travel as needed. Monitor and report on campaign performance. Manage marketing budget under supervision. Stay updated on industry trends. Communicate effectively internally and externally to ensure cohesive branding. Assist with special projects and handle sensitive information discreetly. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience as a Marketing Supervisor or similar role with leadership skills. 5+ years in marketing, preferably in entertainment or streaming industries. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Excellent interpersonal, copywriting, presentation, and public speaking skills. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Organized, self-motivated, with good time management and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms. Graphic design and video editing experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of anime IPs is preferred. Japanese-English bilingual skills are a plus. Authorized to work in the USA.
