Responsible for leading a TSD pod in the assigned region and manage accounts to ensure all TSD deliverables are completed according to internal standards and deadlines.This position will develop, create, and design strategies for the complex core laboratory and automation customer base, such as key strategic accounts and national/regional health systems. This includes project management, preplanning, and preparation to understand and present customer priorities among many concurrent projects and deliverables.The Team Leader will partner/liaison to serve as a communication link to internal and external business partners and Customers to build and maintain effective long-term relationships to grow the business. Initiate competitive comparisons to support business strategies and our Total Solution Design.Responsibilities:Apply advanced technical diagnostics knowledge to lead the team to analyze user needs; gather customer requirements; design an integrated; scalable and comprehensive solution to improve outcomes for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers. Must be able to multitask and coordinate with a complex network of departments throughout all levels of an organization such as Sales, Lab Managers/Directors, Project Managers, HSI/ IT personnel, internal and external vendors, contractors, and senior level management as needed.Serve as the communication link between, US customers, company US sales and service teams, and international counterparts, as needed. Act as primary commercial contact for technical specialist teams for product and process development and improvement leveraging knowledge and experience in clinical laboratory science and laboratory operations and workflows.Partner with the Sales Organization in identifying new consulting opportunities and developing customized solutions. Activities could include RFI/RFP assistance as it relates to technical data, solution development, value creation and customer meetings and presentations, etc.Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with internal and external customers. Manage and support sales objectives and customer satisfaction to grow the business. Initiate and implement competitive comparisons to support business strategy as appropriate.Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical laboratory design specialty automation and workflow. Display leadership in mentoring and coaching team members to continue the advancement of technical skills.Required QualificationsBachelor degree in related field, is required5+ years of experience in a minimum of one of the following areas: (I) selling technical products, services, installations, and configurations of automated diagnostics systems, laboratory automation systems, and system integrations; (II) clinical laboratory science and laboratory operations and workflows; (III) modifying informatics, laboratory middleware, and automation software; or (I) conducting data analyses and utilizing data mining software specific to instrumentation and automation platforms.Proven ability to build long term strategic and senior level relationships and demonstrated capability to uncover a large complex organization's strategic long term plan and short term tactics and translate into a winning solutionProven success as an expert in all aspects of value-based, solution selling and ability to work in cross-functional teams to meet clearly defined objectives that benefit the company and customer.Proven sales management experience is a preferredPreferred QualificationStrong negotiation skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively communicate, speak in public, and adapt to rapidly changing environments is a must.Executive level business and financial acumenStrong team leadership skills and knowledge of all products and servicesStrong internal and external networking skills with robust inter-personal skills that will develop and enhance long term relationshipsUnderstanding of diagnostics industry would be a plus but is not mandatoryExcellent communications skills (written and spoken)* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
