3 years of hotel sales experience , preferably in a full-service or upscale property.
Prior experience managing group and/or business transient accounts.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Working knowledge of hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, CI/TY, or similar CRM tools).
Ability to travel locally and regionally to attend client meetings and industry events.
Must be flexible and able to work varying schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends, based on business needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
Salary Range:
$100,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience. Qualifications The
Assistant Director of Sales
(ADOS) is responsible for supporting the Director of Sales in driving group, transient, and catering revenue for the Hilton Orange County / Costa Mesa. This hands-on leader will actively manage key accounts, develop new business, and ensure that the hotel achieves or exceeds revenue goals while delivering exceptional guest and client experiences. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Sales in executing strategic sales plans to achieve room night and revenue goals.
Actively prospect, solicit, and secure new group and business transient accounts.
Maintain and grow existing client relationships through effective account management and site visits.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Collaborate with the Revenue, Catering, and Marketing teams to optimize profitability and guest satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and community activities to promote the property and generate leads.
Support, coach, and mentor Sales Managers to achieve individual and team goals.
Ensure adherence to Hilton brand standards and company policies.
