Position: Director The Director is a key member of the Ware Malcomb senior management team, responsible for supporting the Regional Director in areas such as growth, revenue, profitability, staff management, and client relationships for the Toronto market. The role involves nurturing a positive, team-oriented environment, meeting financial goals and deadlines, and assisting in business development.
Your Role
Manage daily operations of work and team members within the studio.
Ensure all proposals and contracts are in place.
Oversee the organizational chart, project budget reports, review monthly project revenue projections and financials, and prepare monthly business reports.
Market and promote new business opportunities for Ware Malcomb to grow your group. Attend business development and networking events.
Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment.
Partner with internal recruiting to hire new team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
10+ years of experience in corporate office interior design projects.
Business development experience.
Experience leading an office or studio.
Excellent communication, mentorship, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
