Strong command of visual and communication design principles Rigorous attention to detail Creative and resourceful Proficient at extending existing design patterns across platforms Deep systems thinker, able to optimize sophisticated information architecture Enjoys improving existing patterns and finding innovative solutions for new features and use cases Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity and change during a project Description This Designer Manager will build user experiences for iOS, macOS, iPadOS, Web, and other platforms. They will have strong interpersonal skills as the position requires working closely with other designers, engineering, product marketing, and presenting to executive sponsors. Responsibilities of this position also include: crafting detailed interaction and pixel specs; preparing assets for use in a variety of platforms: engineering implementation, Web use or Keynote presentations; maintaining up-to-date files and uniform naming conventions; ensuring design consistency across all assets and products. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000 and $301,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
