Company Overview: Our client is a celebrated authority in the design and manufacturing of contemporary ready-to-wear, outerwear, and leather clothing. The company is known for its popular brands which are featured in major retailers including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Urban Outfitters, and more.
Position Overview: As the Designer, you will work closely with the Design Director to execute collection from concept through production hand off.
Designer Responsibilities:
- Research and present key trends
- Manage fabric sourcing
- Create Illustrator sketches and CADs
- Update development tech packs in Excel
- Manage T&A timelines
- Lead and present to buyers
- Approve samples
- Attend fittings
Designer Qualifications:
- Experience designing private label
- Experience in women's woven categories
- Proficient in Excel and Illustrator
- Missy background is a plus
