Job Description We’re recruiting for aSenior Manager Employee Communications, Asset Managementto join us. You will beresponsible for delivering campaigns and content for employees in our Asset Management division to support our ambitions for growth. What you’ll be doing: Working with the Head of Employee & CEO Communications, Asset Management, to develop and deliver an employee communications strategy for Asset Management that increases awareness and understanding of our strategy, supports adoption of change and transformation goals, and builds trust and confidence in the business’s leadership in line with the business goals Working autonomously to business partner with senior leaders in Asset Management, providing senior advice and counsel to create and drive communications plans that support key priorities across the division, developing clear and consistent messaging and engaging content and events to support their delivery in line with business requirements Working closely with our integrated Marketing team and stakeholders across Asset Management to curate and develop content including employee newsletters, articles, and videos, and designing and delivering events including hybrid and virtual employee Town Halls, evaluating their effectiveness and implementing improvements designed to increase visibility and engagement of content Identifying and delivering opportunities to improve the delivery of employee communications, including channel management, and planning and evaluation, working with L&G’s Employee Communications team to implement changes effectively and efficiently in Asset Management, harnessing the power of narrative through different media – including email, blogs, and video – to inform, connect, and inspire employees in line with the company strategy Delivering communications plans that support leaders to implement changes in the business via targeted and focused communications and deputising for the Head of Employee Communications, Asset Management, where needed Ensuring communications are reviewed and approved by individuals who have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and expertise, and that such approval is recorded Taking the lead in all matters regarding the management of employees, ensuring that management discretion is used consistently and that the area follows the Group’s policies and procedures, including the Partnership Agreement, to maximize business performance
Qualifications Who we’re looking for: Significant knowledge of employee communications and change communications strategies Significant knowledge of developing different types of content (written, video, graphic) and designing and delivering internal events Excellent copywriter, knowledge of messaging development and crafting engaging narratives for employees Solid understanding of the asset management industry Able to work autonomously and on own initiative to propose solutions and collaborate with others to deliver to deadline Significant experience working with senior leaders in a complex and fast-paced environment Previous experience working in complex regulated organisations, ideally in FS Experience effectively managing relationships with external agency partners and collaborating with colleagues to deliver on plans Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong connections and relationships across the organisation to ensure connectivity and co-ordination across all communications plans and activities Well organised with excellent attention to detail Ability to take ownership of agreed communications activities and deliver against objectives. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and remain composed in the face of multiple projects and tight deadlines Ability to think creatively about solutions to communications challenges Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
